"Kate's" 2012
Here is an old portrait taken from a picture i did of
myself and one of my friends kate. I think it was quite
an usual way of doing a portrait as it has very minimal
detail however you can still see every facial feature.
To create this piece i used a tea bag to colour the paper,
pencil to draw in the basic outline and acrylic paint to
fill it all in.
"outside" 2013
As you can see these are pages taken from my college
summer journal. The main theme i was aiming for with
these pages was nature in all her beauty. I made this as i
went outside and really looked at things for the first time
instead of just rushing past everything and avoiding the rain.
Nature is wonderful and i think everyone should take
in her amazing sights everyday. "Life isn't about waiting
for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain."
For these pages i used wallpaper, pen and acrylic paint.
"Theatre royal Margate" 2013
This is a quick sketch i did of the Theatre
Royal in Margate whilst waiting in the
dressing room for my queue to be on stage.
I was preforming in a Musical at the time
and so everytime i look at this picture
i can remember the excitement and thrill
i was feeling at that exact moment. It was electric.
I drew this from a picture.
To create this drawing i just used a simple
black ball point pen.
Personally this is one of my favourite drawings
ive done in a while as i think it turned out
better than i expected it would.
